Bombardier Transportation signed on 22 November a contract with SNCF, French National Railways Company for the supply of new trains to be used on the Greater Paris / Ile-de-France suburban network. The Bombadier Embrio was designed as an insight into the future of transport circa 2025. Bombadier drew on its experience with recreational vehicles when it came to design of the Embrio and it is intended for people who enjoy transport, this is evident in the styling and the necessity to lean into turns similar in a similar manner to a motorcyle rider.Selection of the TechX engine to power the business jets “significantly expands GE’s business and general aviation product portfolio,” said Brad Mottler, GE Aviation’s vice president and general manager of business and general aviation.
